What we do

School Colors supplies school uniforms to students who cannot afford to buy them.

Strong partnerships with community schools allow us to provide students with easy access to uniforms. “Community Schools” leverage and integrate outside resources to provide a range of services that support and strengthen students and their families.

The Baltimore Warehouse Collaborative offers a central location to store and distribute uniforms, and a small makeshift office. The nonprofits sharing this warehouse all work with underserved Baltimore children – that’s allowed us to foster natural synergies that benefit all our work.

Buying uniforms at cost has decreased the price by about 40 percent, allowing us to expand our reach dramatically. This cost is possible through the generosity of a major clothing manufacturer, French Toast, whose products are available in national retail stores.
